Introducing ParkHill’s Local Security Management Service In December 2003, the Secretary of State for Health announced a mandatory requirement for each NHS Trust to appoint a Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS). The LSMS is responsible for delivering a safe and secure environment so that the highest standards of clinical care can be made available to patients.
