Introduction to Forensic Investigation Nine out of ten companies provide staff with internet access. A side effect of this is greater exposure to viruses, inappropriate usage and spam. Fortunately, it is virtually impossible to permanently delete data or the history of any digital activity without leaving some trace. Forensic investigation involves taking an “image” (exact copy) of electronic data. This image is taken back to a laboratory for further analysis, leaving all the electronic equipment undisturbed as it was originally found.
How ParkHill Can Help ParkHill’s forensic investigators are experts in retrieving and analysing data in order to gather potential evidence. The investigation process fully respects the need for confidentiality and discretion in intelligence gathering, and the requirement to maintain evidence to legal standard.
Benefits of ParkHill’s Service ▪ Rapid response time, ensuring that problematic situations are quickly resolved ▪ Secure and well-equipped forensic laboratory, which is regularly updated with the latest tools
